As an Osteopath, my goal is to restore your quality of life and health by utilizing the bodies natural restorative abilities using various non invasive manual techniques.
An Osteopathic Manual Practitioner observes and uses palpation skills, to attain a clinical impression on how the tissues are living. Palpation is a fundamental skill that requires the use of hands/fingers in contact with various tissues to detect mobility, vitality, density, temperature, position of a structure, fascial restrictions and adhesions, and other possibilities. We are essentially "dialoguing" with your tissues to get a sense of how the body is currently living versus where it wants to be. Our job is to figure out what structure(s) are preventing the full expression of your health. Osteopathy utilizes various non-invasive gentle physical techniques and approaches to treating the body as a whole.
Improving your quality of life is vital for osteopathic practice. I believe in a multidisciplinary care approach to provide the support and care that you need to optimize your health.

Jenna Tocco
My name is Jenna Tocco, an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (O.M.P) practising in South Windsor. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia, and I have graduated in 2019 with a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (D.O.M.P) from a five-year part-time program + 2-year thesis from the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Halifax. My thesis study was focused on "Global Osteopathic Treatment in Patients with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease". I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University in 2011 and Pilates training.
I have continued to further evolve my practice in advanced training on concussions and craniosacral therapy, and woman's health. I have a special interest on focusing on a body, mind, spirit perspective when treating, and bringing awareness to somatic emotional issues and brain-heart-gut interrelationships.
